Report an error
Accuracy matters most on this site, so error reports go to the top of the list. Please include:
- The page address (URL).
- The numbers and units you entered into the calculator, or the sentence you think is wrong.
- What you expected and why: a utility bill, a spec sheet, an EIA or NREL figure, or your own calculation.
Confirmed errors are fixed promptly and the page's "updated" date changes. See our editorial standards.
Suggest a calculator or guide
Tell us what you were trying to work out and what numbers you had. Popular requests get built first.
Privacy requests
To access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, email us with the subject "Privacy request". See our privacy policy.
What we can't help with
We can't design or approve an electrical installation, confirm what your local code or utility requires, or give financial or tax advice. For solar, battery and wiring work, speak to a licensed electrician or certified installer.
